Let’s get kids into Lacrosse

Quick Stix focuses on the three basic lacrosse skills: scooping, catching and throwing. From this starting point, kids can move onto team play and game rules. In other words, kids learn to love the sport before they take on its technicalities.

Our teaching guide is a big part of the success of Quick Stix in schools. Instructors may use the guide to make sessions easier or harder, to suit what their kids can do. The guide explains different skill levels and tactic variations. And it gives examples of how to keep kids engaged.

Let’s get playing!

Teachers

We can help you run a Quick Stix program at your school.

Check out our teaching guide, which gives you a five lessons program. It doesn’t matter if you have never played (or even seen) a lacrosse game. The video guide explains the terms and rules of lacrosse, and runs through the techniques and tactics. It also helps you adapt the program to kids of different ages and different skills levels. If you want to introduce lacrosse to your students, this guide is perfect for you!

It provides a comprehensive five lesson program which thoroughly explains the terms, rules, techniques, and tactics involved in the game. It also allows you to adapt the program according to the ages and skills levels of your students. With the help of this guide, you can easily simplify or advance the program to make sure your students get the most out of it. The guide provides lesson plans, videos, equipment lists, and even optional extras so you can give your students the best lacrosse experience.
