UNDER 11 BOYS and GIRLS
The Under 11’s boys program is our one entry point for both Blue Boys and Blue Girls into playing competition lacrosse.
Almost all our girls and boys that play under 11’s have come from our Lacrosse in Schools, Thursday Crew Lacrosse or our Mozzie Lacrosse Programs.

On-Field
- Learning the lacrosse language set
- Demonstrating the Blues way to playing lacrosse
- Ground balls win games
- When we run we win

- Head up and find the open player
Off-Field
- Belonging and engaging with the wider Blues Community
- Encourage engagement with other junior players and coaches across the grades
- Opportunities to have specialist coaching from WA and Australian representative players and coaches
- Engagement of parents into the program
- Listed on all emails and Messenger groups
Development – Skill Acquisition Level – Year 1-3 players
Under 11 coaches have a focus and metrics on:
- Promotion and development of Goalies skills for all players
- 100% of game time on-field coaching
- Participation and engagement – making it fun
- All field position development for each player
